Limited Palette for Infinite Harmony
Throughout the centuries, master artists such as Da Vinci, Monet and Picasso have proven a limited palette of essential colors could create any color necessary.
Ardak Kassenova, professional artist and co-founder of ZenART, created limited palettes of only fundamental oil colors. She researched the color palettes of old masters and contemporary artists and designed The Infinity Series of Professional Oil Paints, each benefiting from the following:
- Easy Fit Lids: extra-wide tubes mean you can replace caps while painting
- No Duplication: each colour has a specific purpose to create natural harmony
- Different Opacities: in each range for glazing, staining, brightness, and adding body
- Fast Drying Time: due to high-quality acid-free linseed oil binder and proprietary process used
- True Colour & Smooth Texture: paint holds well the textured brushstrokes & palette knife marks
- Contents You Can See: each tube details the colour name, opacity level, lightfastness, and pigments used to create it
When Less is More
Using few essential colors to mix almost any color brings a greater balance throughout a painting. Each palette has particular qualities:
Essential Palette is viewed by many artists as their foundation, no matter what they paint. Impressionist Palette, when combined with our Essential or Portrait palette, will have you painting landscapes, seascapes, and more. Portrait Palette includes Earth colors to achieve realistic skin tones, but is not limited to figurative paintings.
Which Colors are Included in the Set?
The foundation you need no matter what you are painting, or in which style. There are 8 x large 1.69 fl.oz (50ml) tubes, including:
Titanium White (PW6), Cadmium Yellow Hue (PY1), Cadmium Yellow Deep Hue (PY83), Cadmium Red Hue (PR21), Alizarin Crimson (PR63:1), Cerulean Blue (PG7/PB15/PW6), Cobalt Blue (PB15/PW6), and Ivory Black (PBK11).
All colors can be combined across three palettes, as there’s no duplication (except for the Whites).

These oils have a buttery, creamy consistency and beautiful, vibrant color. Excellent quality for the price.

Getting back into oil painting, and lost my higher end paints. Didn’t want to spend all that money on the brand name stuff so I ordered this set and was honestly surprised! The consistency is easy to mix, the paints are fluid and I haven’t had any problems mixing it with liquid or turpentine. I’m rusty but the size of these tubes are pretty big and I don’t feel as guilt when I mix the wrong colors! This would be a great gift-starter kit!

I’m no expert but just beginning these were some of the first oil paints I have ever purchased. They have been so great for me. Buttery, creamy and vibrant. I most of all love the connection between supplier and customer! So helpful so encouraging. Makes me feel not just like a customer but a friend.

This is my first time using oil paint and this is how my painting of Jackie Chan came out and I really love it but the thing is it doesn’t have the color black I didn’t notice that. Just be aware of that. But overall it’s really good and ya should get it.I tried mixing to make the color black but it didn’t turn out well at all but never mind that. It’s a good price and a good start if you want to oil paint. It takes a few days or 2 to dry completely tho. So protect the painting in the drying process for like 2 or 3 days.Tip! Don’t use too much refined linseed oil or it will take a lot of more time(days) to dry because the paint itself already contains some refined linseed oil in it.

This oil paint seems like good quality, it’s thick and full body texture, I like what I’ve used so far for my artwork. I’m fairly new to playing with oil based mediums compared to water based acrylics so every time is an experiment – learning experience. I laughed at the rating for whether or not “it goes on easy”, new or not to working with oil, I wouldn’t say it goes on easily, as most artists experienced with oil based paints know to be true, it can be difficult to work with, that being said, it does go on smoothly.

I have the essentials pallet and the impressionist pallet. I love both of these pallets, the colors are great and they look even better when you paint with them. They are super easy to work with and have amazing results for the price. I was pretty skeptical at first because of the price, but after I tried them I was in shock. The paints tubes are very large and the quality is great. I did notice that the oil paint from the impressionist pallet had more of a smell than the oil paint from the essentials pallet. I would also recommend possibly switching the metal paint tubes in the essentials pallets the plastic? I noticed the sometimes the metal would get small homes in some of the tubes and the oil will come out of it. Besides that the paints are amazing. I use these paints almost everyday and they have lasted me months. I highly recommend this paint to anyone!
