If you were like me, and you just suddenly needed some light travel luggage, that will accommodate a suit or I guess a dress. You already know that Amazon has a dizzying array of products that you cannot tell the difference between except by photograph. It doesn’t show you very much. I took a chance and bought this one and I’ve been very satisfied with it. The fabric is very heavy duty, but it is not heavy to carry. The hardware is quality. It has nice little dividers and basically does the job, without looking cheap, even though it was cheap. I have no doubt that this is going to last as long as I will need a garment bag. After that, I will put it on the burn pile and not care because I will be retired.

Had a weekend trip planned where I was flying across country. Didn’t need a lot of clothes but DID need to go from ‘travel casual’ to ‘casual business attire’ to ‘after work party.’ perfectfin07e-20 that I was flying from a Florida climate to a Northern Washington State climate AND didn’t want to check airline luggage. A suitcase wouldn’t handle my ‘wrinkle free jacket’ needs so my partner suggested a garment bag. Not wanting to spend a lot because I don’t know how often I would use a garment bag, I took a chance on a mid to low priced bag with decent reviews. I also didn’t have time to replace a bad purchase because I was leaving in 3-days when I made the decision to buy (yeah, why plan too far ahead right? Lol). The bag is the gray tweed color. It’s a robust material that is light yet resistant to fairly rough handling with getting bumped around by other travelers with their bags and carry-on’s. It folded in half with my suit jacket, multiple shirts, under garments, socks, a pair of dress shoes, TSA legal toiletries (less than 3.2 oz), as well as two side pockets for travel documents, kindle fire, iPhone, noise cancelling headphones, and a charger / two cords. I packed a lot and the very wide, well padded shoulder strap pad alllwed me to carry this and have both hands free for a coffee and my cane. I was worried about wrinkles but I packed carefully and secured my hanging clothes (there’s loops for 3 hangers that be doubled up to 6 if you use thin hangers. The thick plastic hangers will take up the three hanger loops). There are 3 straps to secure your hanging clothes – a thick padded strap in the middle at the bag fold point, and two smaller, adjustable straps at the top and bottom of your hanging garments. When I got to my destination (7-hours in two different flights), after other bags and carry-on’s packed on top of my garment bag, I hung up my hat e t bag using the adjustable length, METAL hanger hook and opened my bag to find my suit and hanging shirts, pants NEARLY wrinkle free, but by the next morning, the wrinkles had hung out and were fine. My return trip was another 6 1/2 hours on two flights, layovers, and I had to carry the bag around the airport, pack it into overhead bins etc. It carried well, and laid flat in the overhead bin and fit perfectly in 3 different aircraft models from two manufacturers (Boeing and AirBus). It survived the trips without incident, suffered no damage through TSA opening and inspections, and I felt comfortable SHOULD it have been put into checked luggage by the airline. All in all, I’m VERY pleased with my purchase and look forward to using it again, and even for regional trips in my car – I will hang easily enough in my back seat on the hanger hook and help keep things together. It appears to be very durable with regard to cuts/tears by incidental impact woth orher luggage and it did a great job keeping my clothes flat due to the interior securing straps and tight fold it creates. I’ve only used it on two flights so I cannot speak to long-term durability and survival, and the zippers were heavy enough to make me feel safe BUT there’s a turn where the bag folds in half and you’ll have to take the same care as you would in ANY zippered enclosure going around a corner to prevent pulling it off – just be smart and exercise due care and you’ll be fine. It’s a great bag for the money and with the limited travel I do, it’s perfect. I’d highly recommend this to any of my friends.

Overall, the bag worked well. Large enough for all the garments we required (suits and dresses) and kept everything relatively wrinkle free. The main issue was that the loop for the shoulder strap ripped free and shredded the first time I used it. As such I will be returning the product. I am returning it for an exchange as the bag worked well for us and I will assume the breakage was not the norm.

I am very pleased with this purchase. The garment bag is sturdy but not heavy. It folds up so that it’s easy to carry and store while traveling, but the clothing stays mostly wrinkle-free.

We took this hang up bag on a cruise & it was exactly what we were looking for. It is well made, has extra storage areas & looks very expensive.

Love this garment bag. Have purchased 3. Able to hold a full military dress uniform nicely.

Best garment bag I’ve owned.
I’m a reenactor. My clothes are bulky and made of wool. I camp out in various fields too. My shoes get dirty and my clothes that are not wool are linen which creases very easily. In this bag, I can fit my dirty shoes in a separate compartment. I can put my shirt roled up inside a pocket. I have four pockets to put all these smaller items in. I put my woolen clothes on the hangers inside. One hanger with the weight of my clothes is the best way to break a hanger so I use three in this bag. I have a thick wollen doublet and very bulky woolen breeches, A C17th soldier’s coat and a thick woolen calf length ‘riding’ coat. All the above and more go in the bag. I then zip up the internal flaps, place all the small items in the four pockets on the internal flaps and zip up the bag. Each hanger is on it’s own tab and the whole thing hangs from a sturdy chain and hook. The bag comes with a shoulder strap. When the bag is zipped up, it is half the length of the garments. I can easily carry it slung over my shoulder but most of the time I carry it by hand. The handle is wide and comfortable. Basically, My whole historical clothing is in the bag.The bag then has a pocket on the outside. It is handy for keeping papers in. I have various insurance certificates for liablity at events and I have the informations sheet that is given out by the event organiser. I’m a registered first aider so I keep my certificate in there too and I have my DBS that is also in there along with my Shot Gun Certificate when using reenactment weapons. This is all very handy and when it gets home, I can hang it up and have no fear of moths eating my clothes.I strongly recommend this bag to anyone who needs something hardy but light. It was made especially for us. I have bought many other bags and they have cost me a lot of money. They are gimicky in the main. I can get a bag from a top company with a £200 additional charge for a shoulder strap and about £50 on top for a logo on it of my choosing. So what! Those bags are for making an impression at a Stockbroker conference or something. I need the real thing and this bag is it.I have no affiliation to the company. The bags are made in China and they have a German sounding name. I’m in the Uk and I’m a reenactor who retired from the NHS some time ago. I have no reason to tell you all this other than to recommend a great clothes bag to you so that you don’t break those precious wooden hangers and you don’t suffer continually ripped suit cover thin plasticky things like I’ve done in the past.Writing this has made me want to buy another one – Oh and, by the way, at an event this weekend, other people were commenting on how good the bag is. I know at least one of my fellow reenactors who will be buying one because he said so.

Per ora bene
Materiale e chiusure lampo sembrano solidi, ma lo verificheremo solo nel tempo. Il prodotto, non bellissimo, sembra, comunque, funzionale e adatto all’uso cui è destinato
