A long time ago I bought a puzzle mat made from felt and I hated it. The felt would pill and it would get stuck between puzzle pieces. Not pleasant if you find you need to move a group of pieces around. This mat has changed everything! Very good quality. Laid very flat right out of the box. Easy to use. I got the largest one I saw and I’m currently working a 2000 piece puzzle on it. Always check your puzzle measurements first but this one fit just fine. I may get a smaller one too for use on a smaller table where I do 1000 piece puzzles. Great product. Highly recommend.

Used this mat for the Buffalo Games “North America Wonders” 2000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle, and it fit perfectly. This puzzle is 38.5” x 26.5”. Have used it for two more puzzles since, and it rolls up and unrolls easily, with almost no disruption to the pieces. Great purchase!

Puzzle mat seems to work well enough for the puzzle currently rolled up in it. Hopefully it will unroll just as well as it rolled. Easy to use, seems sturdy.

I would recommend this fabulous puzzle mat as the one to buy right away. Don’t waste your time on other puzzle mats. There are no folds or creases, it is shipped rolled up in a nice box, good for gifting. There was a 10 dollar off coupon that ultimately motivated this purchase, but even without that coupon, I would have bought it. When moving them with care, puzzle pieces scoot around smoothly on the mat unlike felt- don’t waste time or money on a felt mat if you want to enjoy your puzzle. The Skizzle mat is essentially like a giant, thinner mouse pad. Some tips and observations: Leave a margin of about 1.5 inches (3.81cm) on three sides and room enough to one side for the foam roller. This will help too many pieces from falling out- because they will. But! The included bag for the mat should contain any truant pieces. I also recommend using 2 more straps or rubber bands to keep the mat closed as the 3 I found didn’t keep it closed enough. 5 points of closure will be better.I did some tests rolling up and unrolling the mat with a puzzle in it, and while several loose pieces do move around somewhat, the relative position of the pieces does remain. Pieces already put together stay together well but will curve very slightly. It is a prudent decision to unroll and roll up your mat slowly and carefully to avoid the pieces from going too askew. Enjoy your puzzles !

Sturdy, very well constructed and easy to store in its own bag. Well worth the price. Excellent for puzzle-solving on a slightly uneven surface. Would highly recommend as a gift for a puzzle aficionado! Perfectly protected shipping too! (Boxed within a box)

This is one of those things you don’t realize how much you need it until you have it. It does exactly what it promises. It takes about a minute to roll and secure or to unroll. The puzzle comes out about 90% intact, with the disconnected pieces still right next to each other, so it’s simple to repair (the more of the puzzle that’s done, the more intact it stays). The smooth material makes it easy to slide pieces around. And it’s flat! Also plenty big enough for a 1500-piece puzzle (and probably a 2,000 but I haven’t tried that).I tried a cheaper mat and it was awful – came with folds that would not flatten and material that was hard to maneuver pieces on. This was more than worth a few extra bucks.
