40L is a bit more than we need but it’s nice having the option for hauling more stuff. Stitching is solid. Seems to seal airtight and the straps make sense. The outer pockets are really convenient. I gave it to my wife so she could update our kayaking go bag. She likes the green color.The cel phone bag with lanyard works fine but we haven’t tried pushing the limits of water resistance. We are both comfortable putting our phones in this bag and using it to take pictures while out on the water. I won’t be taking it snorkeling anytime soon but it’s a nice layer of insurance in a kayak.

This bad boy is large, tough and highly functional. I got the larger bag and it’s nicely made. Very rugged and completely waterproof. I like the outside zip pouch to drop my car keys, wallet and phone in. It’s a waterproof zip pouch and very functional. I also like the exterior water bottle holder. I have a large 20oz UA water bottle and fits nicely into the side holder and has a drawstring to keep it snug. It allows me to carry the water easily, without putting inside the bag. The bag holds a lot of air, so will float if you keep the air locked inside. If you push the air out, the bag collapses to a much smaller size (depending on how much your are carrying). I have a full sized beach towel, swim goggles, Bose speaker, suntan lotion / spray, and a bunch of other stuff, with still lots of room for even another large towel. I love the bag. Also, it is very comfortable on the shoulders and has a chest clip to keep the bag shoulder straps secured up on the shoulders so it doesn’t slip down.

I love my dry bag. I use mine every day for work and it has held up very well. Only has the water bottle pocket, the main pocket, and a small side pocket which makes it more difficult to stay organized. I wish there were more interior pockets but it’s easy to use and great for this price point

I bought this to bring on dive boats and beaches when traveling for work in Hawai’i. It kept all my personal items dry, and I like the backpack style so that I could also go hiking and not have to worry about pop up showers. When I would go to the beach alone I was able to bring it with me into the water so that I didn’t have to worry about anyone stealing my things.

Bought this for river tubing. Clipped the bag to the tube and floated for about 5 hours. Everything on the inside stayed nice and dry. The front pocket is not waterproof, but that wasn’t an issue since I didn’t need it. The phone case seemed a bit cheap but I already purchased a gechobrand (amazing case). I purchased the 20L and had plenty of space for towels, clothes, sun block ect.

Impressed with the quality of the waterproof material and the design of the 20L bag. Previously owned a 13L bought from WM that is lightweight nylon (not floatable) and just too small to fit all the gear for sailing. This Ocean Dry Bag’s flat measurement is: 23”L x 14.5”W and 8.5” across at the base. Everything now fits in one bag (I.e., gloves, sunglasses, b.cap, sun block, boat shoes, foul weather jacket, change of clothes and more). The outside pocket holds water bottle and smaller pocket is for ID, money and iPhone in its own waterproof case which is included! I use the shoulder strap for hands-free carrying but need to pad it on the pressure point. Love the bright color—easier to spot floating in water or when removed onto the dock with other bags!
