Each level holds two standard-sized or three smaller children’s books so in total, anywhere between 10 and 15 books.

Front-facing bookshelves provide a visual display of the book covers, thus encouraging independence and exploration as children are invited to choose books that interest them.

Never left a review before but felt like I should with this shelf. Great quality and easy to assemble. It’s going to be perfect for my daughters bedroom. The shelves are on the small side, so it probably wouldn’t fit large books but it’s great for boars books. Nice solid wood.

It was so hard to find a Montessori bookshelf for my baby’s nursery and I’m so glad Montessori & Me designed this perfect bookshelf! It holds the right amount of books that gives plenty options but not overwhelming for kids. The size is compact so it doesn’t take too much room and the height is great for little ones to reach. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. Very reasonable price for the high quality wood and considerate design.

This bookcase is on the small size, holds about 12 cardboard books, doesn’t tip easily…a really good feature because the minis favorite right now is taking all the books off so she can step up it.

Let me start off my saying this bookshelf is so beautiful! The first thing I noticed when we opened the box was the quality of the wood. Everything looks as though it was meticulously hand picked when designing to make sure the quality of this bookshelf was a priority. Putting it together was easy to follow and quick. We put it in our soon to be nursery and it was the perfect size! It’s heavier and sturdy so I know my baby will be safe when she eventually climbs/uses it to stand up to pick out her books! Love that it promotes independence and options as well. I would love to buy another for my toddler- he loves it as well!
