Bought this for riding a bicycle so I could have my phone with cycling app in the cockpit.Have used it on the drop bar bike with Easton aero bars and swapped it over to the TT/Tri bike.Phone is held in place solidly. It has a rubber strap to go over the top of the phone for added security but I have not used it. Turn the knob to lock the phone in place and you’re done. I do have an Otterbox on the phone and it opens up enough to fit easily.Very happy with this and will be picking up another so I don’t have to swap back and forth between bikes.

I have this on my scooter. When it stays on, it’s the best. When it doesn’t, it’s frustrating as ever.The issue is there is a rubber band that goes under the device to help hold it on place. Unfortunately, it moves from going over bumps, curbs and normal use. The device then loosens and the band slides out causing issues. The device then is just swinging your phone around upside down.I use a thin Otterbox on my phone. While the device has been in use , my phone has fallen out two times. One was operator error. The other was device failure, as mentioned above. Thankfully my phone was fine, but it’s still irritating.The key is to watch the band and readjust accordingly. I carry an Allen wrench with me as I ride, but it doesn’t stop the problem from happening. It’s happened 4 times this summer. Considering I ride 4-5 times a week, it’s fair.

This phone mount holds the phone with both a side compression and from each edge using the provided rubber holder. I haven’t had any problems with it after riding 300 miles.

I’m an engineer. I can’t say this is not me, but if I have to re-engineer the device to work on my handlebar that tapers in diameter then it’s just not well designed for the majority of users. It’s slim, slick, and a pain in my buttox.

Überzeugt
Wer eine flexible, für alle Handygrößen passende Halterung, die auch den MTB-Einsatz überlebt, sucht, ist hiermit gut aufgehoben. Die Halterung hält auch bereits durch die seitliche Spannung, also ohne die Gummis, zumindest wenn man nur auf der Straße unterwegs ist. Im Gelände jedoch lieber auch die Gummis verwenden.Einzig der Kugelkopf kann sich im Gelände verstellen, das hat sich jedoch mit einem Handgriff wieder getan.Ich habe mir mithilfe eines 3D-Druckers eine Schelle für den Lenker gemacht, da ich die Halterung in einer starken Biegung des Lenkers befestigen wollte und die mitgelieferten Gummis diese Biegung nicht ausgeglichen hatten. Dies führte bei Verwendung der Gummis, ausschließlich im Geländeeinsatz dazu, dass sich die Halterung am Griff gelockert hat.

Wow, endlich mal eine Halterung die ihren Namen verdient!Macht einen sehr wertigen stabilen Eindruck.Ohne Handy wirkt das Teil sehr dominant, aber dafür ist auch auf grobem Untergrund das Hand nicht abgefallen, hat sich nicht von der Stelle gerührt.Würde ich wieder kaufen.Der Mist den ich bis jetzt hatte kostete in Summe mehr…
