I’m giving this 4 stars because it’s well made and comes with some nice additions. I’ve hoola hooped most of my life but because this thing is weighted (and mind you not that heavy) I can’t get it to stay up. It just falls to the floor no matter what speed I go. I will keep trying but disappointed was hoping this would work and be an additional workout option.

Ok, so I went to my friends house and I saw it sitting against the wall so I grabbed it. I haven’t hoola hooped in ages lol. It became the hot of the night. Even our husbands were trying hard but it kept falling down. They just need to practice more lol. One of the husbands wouldn’t give up and he kept trying and trying lol. His shirt was drenched wet, he surely got a great workout!!! This has 8 sections that were so easy to snap together. The foam is super soft and thick too. The weight is perfect soft beginners, as the lighter it is, the harder it is. This is 2.6 lbs… perfect! Buy this. Put some upbeat music on and have a competition. Super fun. Now all 3 sets of friends have it at their homes.

This was well-packaged and fairly easy to assemble. Yet it was painful to use as the padding is so thin the hardness of the connection snaps came through causing pain with every rotation around my waist. There is no way that you ever get used to it or are able to use it for more than a few minutes. It was too large for me also. This hoop is almost 40″ making it hard to get it to spin. I later discovered that I need a 36″ hoop, which is the distance from my waist to the ground as I am 5’3″ tall. It is also flimsy once assembled meaning it doesn’t maintain a circle so that complicates getting it to spin. It simply is not sturdy enough for a 40″ hoop. It needs to be redesigned to address these flaws and offer smaller hoops for short people. I had to return it, and sadly it appears all others on the market are about the same as this one.

I ordered two similar hoops and preferred this to the one that was a few inches smaller and a half a pound lighter. I imagine if you’re a smaller person you might prefer a smaller hoop. Honestly the rainbow is gorgeous and don’t be dissuaded by anyone who thinks this is hard to assemble or use. It’s not. I hadn’t hula hooped since I was a kid. You more than likely will bruise lightly your first few times because your body is not used to it, but it stops very soon. My strategy was to start 5 mins every day and then gradually work my was up to 20. This is perfect for winter calorie burning when you’re stuck inside!

Fast delivery and is nicer then I imagined! The grip is soft, easy to put together, the jump rope is not cheap looking, the band is also durable. Love the colors. The box is nice too. This would be a nice gift for someone who likes to hula hoop. My old hoop was out dated. Had it for 10 yrs! Lol. Highly recommend and worth it. I needed to start working out again since it’s been awhile. I tried those other new ones with the links but didn’t fit to my liking. Glad to share these pics with you all!

Deserves Zero Stars! I’ve used exercise hula hoops before which I loved, but this one is useless. The hoop has too much flex which makes it awkward, wobbly, and unbalanced. After about 5 minutes and a couple of bruises (which I never had with my previous hoop), I decided it was time to send it to the landfill. I don’t understand why it got good reviews. Waste of money, and not worth the hassle of returning. Poor Design. Feel disappointed and ripped off.
