Bought this for my daughter and her family. They have enjoyed responding to the prompts. It also gives the parents a perspective on their children’s perspective. Very engaging for young or old. Opens conversation and gives children a sense of autonomy to state their cases and not be judged.

Bought this for Thanksgiving. It was a hit with all ages. My adult grandchildren sat around the kitchen island while we did our baking Wednesday evening and we all played this game into the wee hours. Never read the instructions. Someone would pull a card and read it, and everyone would answer the question. We had great round tale discussions. When their parents arrived on Thanksgiving morning, they brought the cards out again and played until dinner was ready. Nobody had their phone out. Wonderful way to get beyond “How are you? Fine. What have you been doing? Nothing.” and start to really get reacquainted. It was a blast.

We pulled these out during dinner. Granddaughter is 10. Going around the table was very fun to do. Not all cards are winners in finding what would really like to say, that’s with every game. But we all liked it, kept it going quite a long time and my granddaughter definitely wanted to keep it going. So I’d recommend this or one of the others that you like the topic on to get for around the dinner table. It’s fun and spurs on discussions. And isn’t that what we all want more of?

I am a parent of 3 boys, one being a teen. I am also a teacher and mental health counselor. I am telling you this is a great way to have fun conversations and also serious ones. The questions are labeled with 4 categories. We take turns picking the questions so my teen usually picks the fun questions but at least he’s involved.
