These are BEAUTIFUL. I wanted some light on my shelves without a wire hanging from them, and found these candles. I don’t love the look of previous fake candles I’ve had, so I was hesitant. But these blew me away with how realistic they look. The natural beeswax color adds to the vibe of my home. The flame flickers and moves in a way that makes it impossible to tell they are battery operated, and it is warm but bright enough to make a difference in lighting. They are also a thicker size than the typical candle. I am in love.

I ordered all three sizes of the Simply Collected candle. The middle size had to be replaced as, for some reason, it arrives with a shiny finish while the shorter one and taller one were both matte finish. I kept one of the shiny candles and “hid” it in a decorator bowl I have with potpourri. However, the replacement candle came with a dent in the outer finish. It was returned; that replacement was the matte finish. They look beautiful and are so realistic! I really can’t take my eyes off of how beautiful they are. The “flame” moves, is a beautiful white and just adds so much. Other than the finish issue, no complaints.

So I’ve been trying to find a realistic looking candle where the battery life lasts longer than a week. I bought the cheap ones from ikea but have to change out batteries every week and got tired of that quickly. So I stumbled upon these. Honestly I thought they were rather pricey compared to others out there, but I decided to give them a try based off the battery life these are supposed to have. I got them in and set them up and was automatically disappointed with the amount of light they gave off. They seemed rather dim to me at first compared to the ikea candles. After using them for a while I realize they’re not dim. They’re just so life like, almost like real candles. The way they flicker and the flame moves are so realistic that most can’t figure out they’re not real. they also feel like real wax candles on the outside. I actually love them and I’m so glad I took the leap to buy these over the others out there. Also the battery life seems to be great. I’ve had them a few weeks and haven’t had to change out a better yet which is nice.The only bone I have to pick with them is the timer. The timer is only 4 hours. I wish it were 6 or 8 hours. They sell a remote that go along with them which I plan on getting, but I still with the timer was a tad bit longer. Other than that these are amazing faux candles. Almost like the real thing without the danger of burning your house down.

Almost like a real candle
The candle flickers almost the same as a real one. I bought the remote in addition to the candle and I recommend both purchases. It really looks like a real candle! You can position the slider under the candle so that it is on for 4 hours and it really helps with the remote control who has only the on and off options.
